This is a wonderful pair of cobalt decorated stoneware jars. One is marked Greensboro, Pa. with a fancy stencil design beneath. The other is not marked Greensboro, yet has the identical pattern, design, and shape. These two jars were obviously made by the same manufacturer in Greensboro, Pennsylvania. Both jars measure 8 inches tall with a base diameter of 5 ½ inches. One jar has a single chip on the inside rim of the lip. The other has a few small fleabites on the inside rim and a chip on the lower corner of base. Remember, you are purchasing a PAIR of cobalt blue decorated stoneware jars. These jars would work wonderfully as bookends. Talk about a great conversation piece. A “must have” for any serious stoneware collection.
