WOW! Take a look at this one folks!! Talk about a piece of old history. This RARE 1 gallon Knox Haught & Co, Shinnston, W.VA. stone jar is a beauty! Even though it does have a few imperfections, it is still a nice find. All writing and art are done in cobalt ink. This jar has a hairline that runs in a U from the top, approx. 4" down. It has a mold burst in the very center, and it has a mold indentation on the back, which measures 5" long by 1 ½" wide. This stone jar measures approx. 9" tall by 6" diameter. I’ve recently upgraded to a nicer jar in my personal collection and I have decided to put this one up for sale. Price of the jar reflects the damage.
